Now on to my project!

I started with Our Daily Bread Designs new Blessings set and paired it with Memory Box Tinsel Paper.  The question is.... Is it a Christmas card or just a praise card? I don't really know myself as I was listening to Christmas music and singing the Doxology.  Perhaps it's a new card category... Christmas Fusion. (wink) The paper was a little bright for the lace so I toned it down with Ranger Distress Inks Bundled Sage and Old Paper.  Adding that combination again to the sentiment and popping it up onto a bed of pearls created a focal.  Finally, placing a snowflake and bird sticker completed my "Christmas Fusion".
Today's Blessing: This blessing is not mine directly but of Our Daily Bread Designs. Below is a copy of the announcement that was on the ODBD blog at Thanksgiving.  May God continue to bless this company!!!
Our Daily Bread designs is so proud and pleased to be chosen by the Spellbinders company as a Preferred Stamp Partner. Our partnership with Spellbinders will be a blessing to the stamping community as well, as we expand our line to include perfect-matched sentiments, scriptures and images to Spellbinders products. We look forward to a long and blessed partnership with such a fine product as Spellbinders.

Praying that you are doing well and God is continuing to give you strength. My husband was just diagnosed with cancer, I've been free from cancer for 12 years now so we know what you are going through. So good to know that we have a God who is there with us no matter the outcome and that he is good no matter the circumstances.

love the "Christmas Fusion" soft and pretty. Beautiful project. My greatest Christmas Memory is the first Christmas without my Mother. I was only 6 years old. With Mom dying in November and Christmas being the next month, sure we were sad, but my Dad, being the father that he was, did all he could do to make sure his 4 girls were happy. We didn't have a lot of money, but that's not what Christmas is all about. All we wanted for Christmas was the doll house fully furnished, that we saw in the Sears Catalog and Only the doll house and we had to share it, but my sisters and I to this day (now 50 years ago) remember how special that Christmas was.

That dove seems to just float on the card, around my one of my favorite scripture verses. Love the color...ove the whole card! My favorite Christmas memory is opening up gifts late Christmas Eve and then jumping into the car Christmas morning for the long trip to Grandma's house...loved her to pieces and those are precious memories.

Such a pretty card! My favourite Christmas memory ...difficult question as many to choose from. One favourite, my Dad set up the card table in front of our beautifully decorated Christmas tree, and we had homemade meat pie followed by Christmas pudding or cookies (cookies were my choice as I don't like pudding). After, we would head off to church for the service where many Christmas hymns were sung -- my favourite, Silent Night.

this is such a beautiful card and versatile. it would be a wonderful Easter card too. one of my memorable Christmases happened 18yrs. ago. our daughter was diagnosed on Christmas eve with a malignant brain tumor. she had been getting very ill every morning for about a month. the drs. put her on a steroid to help reduce the brain swelling. the next day, Christmas, was the first time she had not thrown up all morning. two days later she went into the hospital for surgery and didn't come home for two mos. we didn't take our tree down 'til she came home. it was definitely a crispy tree by that time. my daughter is now an 18yr. cancer survivor. michelle frasher
