Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths. Psalm 25: 4
Happy Birthday to Stampin' Sisters in Christ. We are celebrating out 1st birthday with a blog hop! We have invited all past stampin' sisters to join us and what a treat seeing all their favorite verses.
If you came from Miesje's blog then you are in the right place. If you would like to participate in the entire blog please start at the Stampin' Sisters In Christ Challenge blog! There are many blessings along the way and chances to win prizes, so we hope you'll join us! All of the blog links are posted there in case there's a break along the way. After you have visited each blog please return to the SSIC blog and leave a message telling us that you finished the blog and what scripture touched your heart the most. Thank you in advance for touring with us.
My project today started as a giggle. When Lisa first gave us this challenge I said that I could not possibly choose ONE verse.... so I think that I will have to put ribbons and flowers on my bible and call it a day. When my talented teamie Sandee, from Our Daily Bread Designs, created a bible project she gave me permission to CASE her. I encourage you to stop by Simply Southern Sandee to see her bible/scripture project. Even though my idea started as a funny quip it is based in truth. As many of you have found by experience our favorite scriptures are given to us in times of distress. I am no different but the one that I chose as a cover verse for this project is Psalm 25:4 as it speaks to our heart as Christians. We know that the scriptures are the way in which the Lord directs our paths and shows us His ways. The entire twenty fifth chapter is one of David's prayer for instruction, guidance, and forgiveness. I encourage you to carve out some quiet time this week and read this awesome chapter as a prayer just a David did long ago.
Your next stop on the hop is former DT sister Pamela. Thank you for stopping by.
Today's Blessing: I really love my project today. I think it will make its way into my guest room bedside table.

Randi, this is absolutely beautiful. And you are so right...picking ONE verse is next to impossible. As one preacher said, "It doesn't matter where you turn - it's all good!"
What a super and lovely idea. I couldn't pick just one either.
Beautiful this Bible!
This is AMAZING and you chose the perfect verse to showcase it! Now I know what my Christmas crafts will entail! Thank you for the inspiration!
Your project is awesome! I love the colors! God has blessed us all with the many colors of His rainbow! He is definitely directing my daughter's path at this time! She asked to go to church with us for the first time this Sunday, and she attended my husband's baptism a few weeks ago! He is so good!
Another beautiful project Randi. You girls have almost all chosen some of my most favourite texts and this is making it a real pleasure to participate in this blog hop today (my first ever)! xx
Randi, What a wonderful idea! This would make a lovely gift presentation for Easter, Baptism, birthday, Christmas . . . The colors are gorgeous, and the verse is perfect! Thank you for sharing, not only your crafting talent, but your spiritual gifts as well. Hugs, Magi

This is so perfect, beautifully done!! I love how you glorify the Lord. That verse is ideal "Lord show me, Lord teach me!" And boy have we seen Him do that very thing! What a faithful and mighty God we serve!
What more could I say about your super ideal of a Bible wrap! Perfect verse for it also.
Love it!
Cheers

Absolutely beautiful! The colors are exquisite and I so appreciate your message. . .God does speak to us: by His Spirit through His Word! Thank you for sharing your heart and talents and for helping to spread His Word to the ends of the earth!
I love this stamp set - so beautiful and your notebook is too.
Proverbs 3:5-6 are two of my life verses (as well as Hebrews 12:11 although that does not have anything to do with the PATH! lol)
Keeping you in my prayers Randi!!!

It may have started as a giggle, but it sure ended up being a profound statement about the importance of Scripture, didn't it? You did such a lovely job decorating your Bible, and that verse just sums it all up so well!
