Challenge: Create a card with birds of any kind.
This is such a special verse for me. When I put my trust in the Lord, allow Him to be Lord of my life, I am always renewed with strength that does not comes from me but from Christ alone. My card today uses Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Renewed Strength set. It is a perfect set to use for this challenge since it is the verse for the challenge. I colored the eagle with my Copics and surrounded him with a bit of blue for the sky. Cutting it out with Spellbinders Long Ovals made a nice focal space for the eagle and scripture. I kept it simple by only adding a ribbon. Our sponsor this week is the Digi Doodle Shop. They have beautiful digital images. One lucky random participant will receive a $10.00 gift certificate. Today's Blessing: We are celebrating my father 's 95th birthday today. I thought you might like to see a picture of him. My brother brought him over for a visit on his actual birthday. He wasn't able to stay long that day as the home was having a party for him... he looks like one big party animal!

Happy Birthday to your Dad, Randi! I really wish I would have gone to the CHA vendor show rather than consumer show because there's so many people that I wanted to meet and missed meeting, like you and Peggysue. I did get to meet a lot of people from SCS and other stamp companies, and also met with Chrissy Dickinson! We got a picture together I'll have to share with you.
