Our challenge today at Stampin' Sisters in Christ is brought to us by talented and creative Grace. I think you will love this challenge this week as it a fun one!
Verse: Psalm 127:1a "Unless the Lord build the house, they labor in vain who build it".
Challenge: Use an image of something that is "built" using a set of plans ... a house, church, school, automobiles, even a bird house...anything that would be built according to a set of plans.
My card today uses Our Daily Bread Designs Bless This Home set. I changed it up a bit and stamped the cottage as a background in Memento Desert Sand and over stamped the sentiment from the same set in Memento Rich Cocoa. I cut part of the cottage short in order to make the focal a square. Using GCD Studio's October Afternoon paper helped to make a great outdoor feel as well as punching the ducks from the same paper. I used i heart 2 stamp sketch for you to try (SFYTT15) challenge seen below and I am so happy that I was able to follow this one closely as it is a great sketch that I will use again.
Our sponsor this week is Wink Wink Ink. For your viewing pleasure please hop over to the Stampin' Sister's in Christ Challenge Blog to see all the DT wonderful creations. While there you can post your example of this week's challenge where you can have the opportunity to win something from Wink Wink Ink.
Today's Blessing: I am sorry that my post is short today as I am at The Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook EXPO today and posting this early. I hope to see you there. My blessing is that I have met so many wonderful friends through these make and takes and I am excited and thankful to make new friends.
Thanks for looking and have a great day,
Randi

I love how you changed it up with the cottage as the backdrop for the beautiful verse!
Randi, there is nothing that you create that doesn't blow me away. God has given you such a special gift. You are always in my prayers. May the Lord richly bless your day, and every day for you.
I love the "watermark" effect, Randi. And your embellies and papers all come together to make a truly remarkable card!
I hope you're having a blast at the Expo!
