Good morning all! Today is Isabella's Sketchbook Challenge day! The challenge today is to make your card or project in black and white, except for the image...that you can color! I had such a fun time coloring this image. This is one of the first images I got and I love it so. It makes such a nice scene of summer. Living in Michigan means that we are getting our flowers and gardens planted. Seeing a wheelbarrow with tools surrounded by plants is a common site these days. You can find this sweet image at Isabella's store. I colored it onto Neenah paper with Copics, cut it out with Spellbinders Labels Two die. I then took a black piece of paper, traced, and cut around the outside of the die to make a frame. The DP is from DCWV. I then added a little bit of ribbon and a MS punch to finish it.
Join us in playing along at Isabella's Sketchbook Challenge Blog. You must use an Isabella image and a random winner is receive two of Isabella's beautiful images. The DT has created wonderful samples so stop by the challenge blog and see their beautiful creations.
Thanks for stopping by,
Randi
Today's Blessing: Some time ago I was approached by Korin Sutherland of Sweet and Sassy Stamps to join their team. What a pleasure to be able to be part of another Christian company. Yesterday SNSS had a fabulous blog hop to announce their new June releases and to celebrate that they are bringing back acrylic stamps. Stop by tomorrow to see what I created using one of their new sets.
Recipe:

Paper: DCWV; GP; Recollections; Neenah

So pretty, Randi! The bold, rich colors of the image just pop against the b/w DP. Such a simple, yet powerful card/design. Great work on this challenge!
Love it, Randi, your colouring is just drop dead gorgeous, all the shading is so fabulously done! And the grass looks like the wind is going to move it any minute, stunning work!
If you want to emboss printed images just be sure you are ready with the powder as soon as the paper comes out of the printer. Pearlescent paper doesn't absorb as fast as regular one but you'll still better be quick! :)

Gorgeous. I love the paper you chose, it looks like a lattice fence behind the image. Your colouring is wonderful and your bows are always so perfect. How do you make them?
Hugs!
